The body of the letter sits here, in a serif typeface, ragged-right, exactly as an email would look in an inbox. A few short paragraphs about what's on the menu this week, what's coming next, anything you'd want regulars to know.
The whole block is wrapped in a thin slate border with a soft drop shadow, so it reads as a literal email pasted into the page rather than a styled blog post.

One-line excerpt. Date in monospace small caps, title in display sans, excerpt in body type.

The list scales to as many entries as you want, with pagination handled in production.
Each entry on the production site clicks through to a full page in the email-format above.
Excerpts are written by the kitchen, one or two short lines.
Six placeholder rows are enough to demonstrate the pattern — production would have however many you've written.
